True Stories May 7, 7 pm Back by popular demand, “This is My Story- I Swear It’s True” has nine new story tellers pulling back the curtain on an incident in their lives. It could be a story of courage, bad choices, blind determination or pure joy. Whatever the story, it’s true and happened to the storyteller. Each 8-minute story is live and in person at Indie Cinema, 162 Mackenzie Street. Concessions are available. $25 tickets are available on line at cklu.ca or in person, cash only, at Jett Landry Music on Lasalle or Adoro Oils and Vinegars on the Cedar Pointe Mall. This is a CKLU fundraiser. Story tellers include: Leila Barsanti, Alessandro Costantini, Melaney Dahl, Mark Gentili, Jeremy John, Pierre Laframboise, Chelsea Papineau and Kelsey Rutledge. Musical guest is Sarah Craig.
