Recently had the chance to go to a cooking class and learnt how to make "Amaretti Cookies" and OMG, I did not know what I had been missing!🍪 So simple to make, very little prep and baking time and the best part is they taste amazing! This recipe calls for lemon juice in the egg whites — I would not do this because it will affect how long the egg whites stay stiff. The chef who taught me to make these paired them with strong espresso …

🧁 For when you want one or two cupcakes, not 12. I’ve tried this recipe twice and it turned out perfectly both times. I used the fluff-dump-sweep method for measuring the flour, which I think helped since it’s such a small amount.

Over the weekend, the boyfriend and I made Focaccia bread. It was our first attempt, but it was still very delicious! At the top we added sun dried tomatoes.
