For a decade now, Billy from Deluxe Restaurant on Regent Street has been on a heartfelt mission: collecting pop tabs to make a difference in our community. Thanks to his dedication, these humble tabs have translated into significant contributions to Health Sciences North. Most recently, a donation of just over $19,000 allowed for the purchase of two state-of-the-art handheld ultrasound devices—transforming lives in Sudbury and beyond.

This remarkable initiative, spearheaded by Billy, has inspired countless Sudburians to join the cause. Even visitors from outside the city have pitched in, bringing their tabs to Deluxe Restaurant to support this effort.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Pop tabs from cans of soda, coolers, beer, soup, tuna, and even cat food are all welcome. Every tab adds up to make a meaningful impact. As Billy celebrates his 10th anniversary of this inspiring project, let’s rally together and help him achieve another monumental milestone. Bring your tabs to Deluxe and be part of this incredible journey of giving!
