Since joining Greater Sudbury this March, Shari Lichterman has quickly become a cornerstone of both our community vision and organizational leadership.
🔍 What she’s delivered so far already in such a short time already: • Guided key executive appointments to stabilize and future-proof city leadership. • Accelerated progress on the downtown event centre and the transformative Tom Davies Square Cultural Hub—a bold reimagining of municipal space that includes a brand-new home for the Art Gallery of Sudbury, interactive digital installations, and year-round cultural programming opportunities. • Championed accessible leadership through regular briefings, town halls, and public outreach—setting the tone for trust and transparency.
The Cultural Hub isn’t just a renovation. It’s a reinvention—where public art, civic services, and inclusive public space converge.
With Shari’s guidance, it’s becoming a project shaped not only by need, but by culture, equity, and imagination. I can’t wait to see that ribbon cut for especially the new home of The Sudbury Art Gallery✨
💬 As she said in her first week: “Let’s build something lasting together.”
So Proud to have her steering the city forward! Thank you for choosing Sudbury! #InsideSudbury #StaffSpotlight #CivicDesign #ArtGalleryOfSudbury #MunicipalLeadership
