The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Monday that forward Nolan Newton (Greater Sudbury Cubs) has been named one of the BrokerLink Insurance 3 Stars of the Week!
"Among the 15 multi-point performances so far in 2024-25 for the 19-year-old French River product, two of them came last week, helping Greater Sudbury clinch the regular season title.
This included a three-assist night in a home triumph over the Rapids as well as notching a goal and aiding on the game-winner in a road victory versus the Soo Eagles.
Sporting a league-best point-per-game average of 2.05, Newton has 45 in total through 22 contests so far this season, on a campaign in which he has only been held off the game sheet once." - NOJHL
