Physical activity is crucial for strengthening an individual's mental health. Regular exercise has been shown to increase the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis which can reduce anxiety and depression. More than that physical activity has been shown to reduce many chronic diseases by 20%-30%. By adding exercise in to your daily routine even for 5 minutes, 5 days a week you would be adding 1040 minutes per year of physical activity.
